Who is entitled to become a member?
Products and services provided by ACRA are aimed to make the risk assessing processes more efficient, less time consuming and improved.
All institutions that issue loans, insurance policies, give out grants and/or perform credit sales can become members of the Credit Bureau.
The following are the sources that the Credit Bureau gets information from: Banks, Micro Finance Institutions, Credit Organizations, Insurance Companies, Public utility companies, Municipalities, Courts, legal entities, etc. Description of the procedures of becoming a member
In order to become a credit bureau member, the institution has to sign a contract of service rendering and start the information exchange.
In order to get a credit report on physical and/or legal entities, the financial institution has to
- have a legitimate business need for checking them up,
- get the client report subject's written consent permitting the request of the credit report,
- sign an information exchange contract with the Credit Bureau.
